Building
The tower is a famous pop art monument in Berlin. It was erected in the 70ies and is 46 meters high, with a very recognizable shape resembling that of an observation tower.
The architects Schüler Witte shaped the face of West Berlin, and in their time also designed the international conference centre (ICC).
The location is very prominent at the metro station Schloßstraße (Palace street, the main street of Steglitz) and highway exit Filandastraße close to the Steglitzer Kreisel shopping center.
